Visit to Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur

On July 20th, 2012 my classmate is having trip to Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur to learn about tacit and explicit knowledge. This trip was organized by our beloved lecturer Madam Azmawati. Unfortunately I'm not able to participate in the trip due to my health condition but I get update about the trip from my friends. Below are the picture of the trip and the report my friends get from the trip.

Tacit Knowledge
- It is considered valuable knowledge as it may provide context for experiences, ideas, people and places.
- In this trip my friends get tacit knowledge through their experience in the Istana Negara. They can see the building, touch the interior, and talk to the people there to get information about Raja-raja Melayu.

Explicit Knowledge
- Easy to capture and store in databases and documents (e.g. policies, procedures, and manuals).
- In the trip, all visitors are provided with the handbook, manuscripts, videos and written information  about administration of Raja-raja Melayu.
